MAKE EVERY ORDERCAREFULLY

Mica band heaters are constructed by winding resistance elements around mica and then insulating the sides of the elements with mica. A sheet of coated steel is then folded around a composite layer of mica. A mica core is wound with a wire and attached with a lead. After connecting the wires, the outer sheathing is then put on and the belt heater is rolled up to form the desired diameter.

When the surface area of pipes, tubes or cylindrical containers needs to be heated, belt heaters are often used. They provide a kind of indirect heat with rapid action. Many industries, especially the plastic industry, find this is an ideal demand. There are three main types of belt heaters: mica, ceramic and mineral insulation.
